Rangers managed to keep Josh McPake at Ibrox this summer.

According to BBC Sport, Rangers talent Josh McPake has agreed a move to Dundee, and will head on loan to the Scottish Championship club.
McPake, 17, is one of the most exciting talents in the Rangers ranks, and is now heading to Dens Park to get some first-team action under his belt.
The winger was spotted watching Dundee in action against Aberdeen today, and should be confirmed as Dundee’s new signing imminently.
This seems absolutely ideal for Rangers, and McPake himself. The teenager has been dominating in youth games, but it’s a big step from that level to the Rangers first team.
Getting experience of senior men’s football will be a great experience for McPake, and stand him in good stead for making the breakthrough under Steven Gerrard.
Rangers already have Jordan Jones, Jamie Murphy, Brandon Barker, Sheyi Ojo and Jake Hastie, so McPake would have struggled for playing time this season, making a loan move absolutely ideal.

The move comes just days after McPake told The Herald that he rejected offers from elsewhere to stay at Ibrox, which was a major boost given that the Daily Record claimed Liverpool were one of the interested teams.
Rangers made the perfect move by keeping him at the club, and appear to be making another great move for the future of the club and the player himself, by letting him go out and play senior football before returning to – hopefully – become a star at Ibrox.
