Ibrox side Rangers are a big club, says defender Dominic Ball.
Rangers defender Dominic Ball has told the club’s official website that the club are as big as some in England.
Ball, who can also play as a midfielder, joined the Gers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2015,
The 20-year-old has been an important player for the Glasgow giants, who have won the Scottish Championship title this season and have gained automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
The youngster has been impressed with the size of the club, and has claimed that it is as big as some of the well-known teams in England.
“I think Rangers, in comparison to other clubs down south are right up there, the size of the club, the size of the stadium and the fans you get is more than some of the teams in the top six back home,” Ball told Rangers’ official website.
Rangers regularly get 40,000 fans for their home games at Ibrox, and that shows the support they have.
The Glasgow giants’ fans will be looking forward to returning to the top flight of Scottish football next season.
Mark Warburton’s side are likely to make signings in the summer transfer window in order to enable themselves to compete with Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title during the 2016-17 campaign.
