Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers would love to see Ryan Kent stay in the long term.

If Rangers fans want one signing this summer, it’s Ryan Kent.

The Liverpool loanee had arguably his best game for Rangers in the 5-0 demolition of Hamilton last weekend.

Many fans of the Ibrox club said on Twitter afterwards that they were desperate to see the Gers make his loan a permanent transfer when the window opens.

Could it happen? If Kent’s recent comments are anything to go by, he might not be against it.

The 22-year-old revealed to The Scottish Sun that he doesn’t know what the plan is regarding his future, but admitted that he is loving life in Glasgow under manager Steven Gerrard.

“I don’t know what’s happening yet. I just need to wait and see at the end of the season. It’s a conversation for Rangers and Liverpool to have if they want to,” he told The Scottish Sun.

“I’m loving my time at Rangers. I have a lot of confidence playing in this team. The manager and I have a good relationship and I enjoy working with him.”

The Record reported earlier this season that Rangers would need to spent around £2 million on the English winger and, if true, it’s a bargain that can’t be turned down.

Kent has proven that he can handle the pressure and expectation with the light Blues. For that money, he would be an absolute bargain and one that Gerrard must make happen.
