Kent joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old winger has been playing quite regular for Gerrard’s Rangers so far this season.
The former England Under-20 international has said that he is progressing well at Rangers, comments which will certainly please Liverpool fans.
Kent told The Glasgow Evening Times: “I think my performances have been getting stronger and my match-fitness is there now.
“I didn’t play so many games last year, so I am building up confidence with the crowd behind us and the results we have had.
“The main thing for me this year is to add numbers to my game in terms of assists and goals. Hopefully they can keep coming and I can keep putting in performances.”

Long-term Liverpool future
Kent is only 21 years of age, and it is clear that the English youngster has a long-term future at Liverpool.
If the youngster continues to progress at Rangers and has a very good season, then Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will have to consider him for the 2018-19 campaign.
What is important for now is that Kent works hard and listens to instructions from his Rangers manager Gerrard as the season progresses.
Kent’s ambition to score more goals and provide assists than he did last season is also very encouraging for the Rangers fans.
