Liverpool said to want Celtic winger. Rangers loanee has potential to be better.

Celtic winger James Forrest has been in the form of his life this season, and now Liverpool are claimed to be interest.
It’s an odd potential move for Liverpool, to target a player who turns 28 in July, and who is not good enough to get into their first team.
With Xherdan Shaqiri at Anfield as well as Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, Forrest would not even be Liverpool’s first option off the bench.
The Reds would be better off sticking with Ryan Kent, currently on loan at Rangers.
Kent has impressed at Ibrox this season and won over initially sceptical Rangers fans. The Scottish Sun report Rangers want to sign Kent permanently.

The 22-year-old might want to stay with Rangers where he is playing regularly when fit.
For Liverpool, it makes more sense to keep him, than spend £8 million on Forrest.
Liverpool have Harry Wilson out on loan at Derby too, arguably an even more impressive player than Kent.
There is no strong argument for Liverpool to shell out on the Celtic star.
