Glasgow Rangers stormed into the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup with a stunning win at Ibrox.

Joe Worrall’s fortunes at Rangers have arguably been mixed. Some fans seem to have really taken to the centre-back, while others are adamant that Nikola Katic should be ahead of him in the pecking order.
He may not manage to unite the Ibrox faithful before his loan ends, but he has certainly made himself more popular with the fans with something he has done on social media following Wednesday’s stunning win for Rangers.
Steven Gerrard’s side are into the last eight of the Scottish Cup after four goals from Alfredo Morelos and a superb finish from Andy Halliday helped the Gers win 5-0 against Kilmarnock at Ibrox.
The game, unfortunately, did not go without controversy. Killie were not happy with the decision to send Daniel Bachmann off after a clash with Glen Kamara, and Steve Clarke’s side clearly felt that they should have had a penalty.

Eamonn Brophy went down as he looked to go past Worrall inside the box. The defender did have an arm round the forward and Brophy’s foot did catch Worrall’s knee. It would have arguably been a very soft penalty, but referees have certainly pointed to the spot for less.
Brophy took to Twitter after the game to express his frustration at the decision, asking if he is supposed to have fallen over his own feet as he went down.
And although Worrall did not respond to the question, he has perhaps been a little cheeky and liked Brophy’s tweet, seemingly hinting that he would argue that the referee got the decision spot on.
