Rangers loanee Joe Dodoo faces uncertainty at Bloomfield Road.

Joe Dodoo of Rangers reacts during the William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final match between Celtic and Rangers at Hampden Park on April 23, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Glasgow Rangers attacker Joe Dodoo has not had the most consistent two years at Rangers.

He spent the last two seasons in and out of the team, without a run of regular game time.

He hoped a loan move to Blackpool may change his fortunes, and while it still could, his prospects look a bit more uneasy than they did 24 hours ago.

This is because manager Gary Bowyer, who pushed the deal to sign Dodoo for Blackpool, resigned on Monday just one game into the season.

Manager of Blackpool Gary Bowyer looks on prior to the Emirates FA Cup First Round match between Boreham Wood and Blackpool on November 4, 2017 in Borehamwood, England.

Blackpool drew 0-0 with Wycombe, with Bowyer resigning due to differences with the club’s controversial owners.

Gers loanee Joe Dodoo started Blackpool’s fixture at the weekend, playing 73 minutes of their goalless draw.

It wasn’t the best start, but simply to have the faith of his boss to start the game was a good sign for the year ahead.

Now there is uncertainty facing Dodoo; will the next manager take a shine to him?

It is up to the 23-year-old to prove himself once again as he bids to get his career back on track.

Joe Dodoo of Rangers arrives at the stadium prior to the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park on March 12, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.
