The Rangers loanee booked his side a tie against Arsenal at The Emirates, a dream opportunity.
Unfortunately for Dodoo, he missed out.
Dodoo was named on the bench but was not used, despite Blackpool using all three substitutes.
It was a sign of the downward trajectory of the Rangers loanee’s season in recent weeks.
He has been used inconsistently, rarely starting back to back games, often playing as a substitute, and there have been games like this one where he has not featured at all.
It is not how Dodoo would have wanted his latest spell away from Ibrox to be going.
Getting the chance to play away at Arsenal is a one off chance which might not come Dodoo’s way again.
