Rangers attacker Joe Dodoo starred in a cup upset. Steven Gerrard take note.

Glasgow Rangers attacker Joe Dodoo is out on loan and will not get a chance to feature in tonight’s Scottish League Cup quarter-final at Ibrox.
He instead has been busy helping his loan side on their way to a very unlikely shot at silverware.
Dodoo helped Blackpool to a surprise win over QPR last night to spring an upset in the English League Cup.
The Rangers attacker helped his League One side to a 2-0 win over Steve McClaren’s men.
Dodoo provided an assist in the victory, setting up Jay Spearing for a game sealing second goal.

Rangers signed Dodoo from Leicester City in 2016 and hoped he would be a big player for them.
It hasn’t quite worked out, and this is his second loan spell away from Ibrox.
The 23-year-old has been in and out of the Blackpool side this season, making five league appearances out of a possible nine, and scoring one goal.
His role in the victory last night will certainly help him out.
