Glasgow Rangers loanee Joe Dodoo suddenly has a huge opportunity on loan to make an impression.

Dodoo was sent out on loan by Rangers to Blackpool in the summer, as he was not in Steven Gerrard’s immediate first team plans.

Dodoo helped Blackpool to a surprise League Cup win over QPR last week and he his side have been rewarded with a glamour tie.

Rangers representatives will now get the chance to watch him in action when Blackpool visit Premier League side Arsenal.

The Tangerines visit The Emirates at the end of October in the last 16 of the competition.

Blackpool will be big underdogs, but this is a chance for Dodoo to really shine and make a name for himself and relight a fire under his Rangers career.

Dodoo has one goal and one assist in six games for Blackpool so far this season.

It will also present a chance for Rangers scouts to take another look at summer transfer target Curtis Tilt, and see how he fares against a side like Arsenal.
