Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Jak Alnwick is spending the season away from Ibrox having left on loan.

Rangers goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has taken to Twitter to celebrate Scunthorpe’s win on Tuesday night which has seen the Gers loanee help the League One side go six games unbeaten.
The Rangers-owned ace went into the game with Charlton Athletic this week off the back of two clean sheets that had seen Alnwick receive a lot of praise from the Scunny fans.
He did not manage to extend his run of clean sheets, but it was another positive night for Scunthorpe as they beat the Addicks 5-3 at Glanford Park to move up to ninth in the League One table.
And Alnwick took to social media in the wake of the result to celebrate Scunthorpe’s recent unbeaten run and praise the rest of the side for their performance against Lee Bowyer’s men.

Here is what Alnwick posted…
There is a long way to go in the season, but Alnwick is arguably doing a fantastic job of making the most of his time out on loan. He began the season as Rangers’ third choice behind Allan McGregor and Wes Foderingham.
And while he is going to do incredibly well to return in a significantly better position in Steven Gerrard’s plans, he has a great chance of putting some pressure on his teammates should his current form continue over the course of the campaign.
