Rangers loanee Carlos Pena is battling to get back to his best.

Glasgow Rangers decided to ditch attacker Carlos Pena in January, sending him back to Mexico on loan.
Rangers fans had hoped they would have sold him permanently instead, and their chances of getting the transfer value they want in the summer are far from straightforward.
Pena linked up with ex-Gers boss Pedro Caixinha at Cruz Azul, the man who brought him to Ibrox.
Both have had a difficult return to Mexico so far.

Pena performed poorly in his initial appearances before suffering an injury. He returned at the weekend against Pumas in a 1-1 draw.
ESPN Mexico report that Pena was booed upon his comeback, amid Cruz Azul’s faltering form.
The side sit in 14th position out of 18 teams, having earned only two wins from 12 matches – not a good look for Caixinha.
Pena faces an uphill task to earn a place in Mexico’s World Cup squad, while Rangers simply need him to play well enough to secure a buyer.
