Glasgow Rangers linked striker Umar Sadiq has followed the Ibrox club on Instagram.

Rangers have been reportedly after Umar Sadiq for a while now.
The Daily Mail reported six days ago that the Roma striker was close to joining the Ibrox side but, fast forward almost a week, the trail has gone somewhat cold.
Until now.
It looks like the 6’3 hitman might be finally nearing a move to Rangers after he followed the club on Instagram today.
At this stage, it seems to be a pretty promising sign that Gers boss Steven Gerrard is closing in on the 21-year-old Nigerian marksman – and fans should be delighted.

Up until now, the bulk of Rangers’ business has been for defenders and midfielders, but the Ibrox side were majorly lacking a brilliant plan-b striker last season and could Sadiq be the answer?
Considering his height, he certainly represents something very different than Alfredo Morelos and time will tell whether he can cut it in the Scottish Premiership.
Last month, Gerrard admitted to The Scottish Sun that “we are fans” of the big striker.
