Rangers have once again reclaimed top spot in the Scottish Premiership table.

Rangers legend Lee McCulloch spoke exclusively to the Glasgow Evening Times about his former club’s start to the season, and highlighted how the players’ complacency will be a real concern for Steven Gerrard.
The Gers moved back to the top of the Scottish Premiership table, after their win on Saturday, and Gerrard will be desperate for his team to maintain their place at the summit this time around.
The last time Rangers went top, they lost their next league game, and got knocked out of Europe the following Thursday, so the warnings are already there for the Glasgow giants.
McCulloch, who spent eight years at Ibrox, suggested that complacency amongst the Rangers players will be a huge concern for Gerrard, when speaking exclusively to the Glasgow Evening Times:

“Since pre-season when Gerrard came into the club, standards have risen and they have been striving to get top of the league ever since. Maybe the last time they got to the top of the league and there was a bit of good press, the players got a little complacent, and that is what will concern the Rangers boss.”
Rangers face four games over the course of a 10-day period before the winter break, including an Old Firm clash with Celtic on December 29th.
And if Gerrard’s men can emerge from that period unscathed, they will have every chance of winning their first top flight title since 2011.
