Former Rangers striker Nacho Novo has insisted the Light Blues have “100 per cent” not seen the last of Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos as speculation continues to rage over El Bufalo’s Ibrox future.

Morelos is yet to feature for Rangers so far in pre-season after his involvement at Copa America and subsequent time off, with reports continuing to link him with a move to Porto.
Novo became close with Morelos when the striker first moved to Rangers from HJK Helsinki and doesn’t think the Rangers number 20 is in any “great hurry” to leave Ibrox.
While the Spaniard admits things can change quickly in football, Novo is confident Morelos is “up for the fight” at Rangers as he insists El Bufalo is going nowhere this summer.
“I know things can change very quickly in football and with agents involved anything can happen, but I know Alfie and I know he loves Rangers,” Novo told the Daily Record.
“He is passionate, he loves the atmosphere around the club and loves the fans. I honestly don’t think he is in a great hurry to move on.
“Look, the performance against Real Madrid without him was absolutely fantastic. I don’t know how many chances they created against a very good team.
“I don’t listen to people who say it wasn’t Real Madrid’s first team – you don’t play for Real Madrid unless you are a top, top player and for Rangers to dominate them as they did was incredible.
“But 100 per cent, we have not seen the last of Alfredo. He will be back and up for the fight. He’s always up for the fight.”
Morelos’ future needs resolved sooner rather than later by Rangers

While there won’t be many Rangers fans keen to see Morelos sold this summer, the Light Blues need to make a definitive decision on his future quickly.
Allowing it to drag on into the final days of the transfer window does nobody any favours and leaves Rangers scraping to find a replacement in short order.
The arrival of Fashion Sakala this summer would lessen the blow of selling Morelos but, if Novo is right, the Colombian won’t be going anywhere for a while anyway.
