Glasgow Rangers winger may never quite win over all of the Ibrox faithful.

Josh Windass has been one of Rangers’ most improved players this season, winning over much of the fanbase at Ibrox who had previously written him off.
But the Rangers winger has not got everybody onside.
Last night he defended himself on Twitter after coming under attack from a supporter who criticised him as ‘not Rangers class’.
Seeing this, you would think Windass would have done something terrible to provoke it.
All he had done was make a bad joke, around the word ‘derby’.
One one hand, you could argue its pretty poor of Windass to falsely get fans’ hopes up about potential tickets for the Rangers v Celtic clash.
But at the same time, a bit of perspective is needed.

Windass is just 24-years-old and just having a bit of fun. He apologised, and admitted he was just a little bored (tough life being a footballer).
While you couldn’t imagine Rangers’ club captain acting like this, Windass is not the club skipper and his youthful exuberance is a part of his game.
Perhaps he even has a little extra motivation to prove his ‘class’ on the pitch this weekend after his latest interaction with supporters.
