Rangers are keen on Josh Tymon as they consider adding the Stoke City talent to their left back options this summer.
The Gers came up short in the Europa League final and lost the Scottish Premiership title to Celtic.
Yet there are still plenty of reasons to be excited about the future under Giovanni van Bronckhorst having really kicked on towards the end of the season.
Rangers will need some big signings this summer to really challenge Celtic again next season and a host of names are already being linked.
The latest name is Tymon as Rangers consider moving for a new left back this summer.
Rangers are keen on Josh Tymon
The Scottish Sun report that Rangers fancy signing Tymon from Stoke City this summer.
Tymon would allegedly cost Rangers around £5million this summer, which would be a considerable outlay for the Gers.
Yet it’s noted that Borna Barisic could be leaving Ibrox this summer, four years after joining Rangers from Osijek.
Barisic is a first-team regular at Rangers so his departure would leave Van Bronckhorst with a major hole to fill.
Tymon could be that player, with a left back now even more vital given that Calvin Bassey is now more of a centre back.

Tymon, 23, joined Stoke from Hull City in 2017. Loan spells to MK Dons and Famalicao have helped him develop into a first-team regular with the Potters.
Michael O’Neill gave Tymon 43 Championship appearances last season, and the left wing back notched one goal and four assists.
Hailed as ‘quick’ and technically proficient by O’Neill, it’s clear that the Stoke boss rates Tymon highly.
Stoke won’t want to lose Tymon this summer but the prospect of playing European football for Rangers has to be appealing.
With real untapped potential, Tymon could be the ideal replacement for Barisic should Rangers sell the Croatian.
