Rangers’ decision to invite questions for Joe Worrall on social media appears to have backfired.
Gers fans were asked to submit their queries for the Nottingham Forest defender, whose Ibrox loan spell runs until the end of this season.
But it seems that several have not forgotten Worrall’s recent interview with Herald Scotland, in which the 21-year-old suggested he had no intention of becoming a permanent Rangers player.
“Forest is my team, they employ me and pay my wages,” he is quoted as saying. “It’s a loan for me. I’m really enjoying it here, and I thank the gaffer for playing me in the games. I’m here until the end of the season, so hopefully you’ll see a lot more from me and what I can do.”

Worrall came through the ranks at local club Nottingham Forest, but after playing regularly during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, the England Under-21 international found himself out of favour under Aitor Karanka this summer.
He has played 11 times for Rangers, where he competes with Connor Goldson, Nikola Katic and Gareth McAuley for a place in Steven Gerrard’s side.
Forest tied Worrall, who is said to have attracted Premier League interest as recently as January 2018, to a three-year contract the previous February.
