Rangers beat St Johnstone 4-0 away from home this afternoon.

Rangers picked up a comprehensive victory today as they beat St Johnstone 4-0 away from home, keeping the pressure on Celtic.
The Gers beat Feyenoord 1-0 on Thursday night to kick off their Europa League campaign in style, but it was back to the bread and butter of league football today.
Steven Gerrard took his side to Perth to take on St Johnstone, and it looked like they would be frustrated with the score at 0-0 at half time.
However, Alfredo Morelos opened the scoring just after the break, and Connor Goldson added a second to put Rangers firmly in control.
Substitute Jermain Defoe then came off the bench to add two goals late on, handing Rangers a comfortable 4-0 win before Celtic responded by beating Kilmarnock.
Gerrard will be delighted with three wins since the international break, with his players clearly responding well having lost to their bitter rivals in the first Old Firm derby of the season.
After the final whistle, summer signing Joe Aribo took to Twitter to celebrate the win, admitting that he was ‘delighted’ with the result before thanking supporters for travelling in numbers as usual.
