The Glasgow Rangers midfielder has enjoyed a swift rise to the top of the game since joining Steven Gerrard and co at Ibrox this summer.

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo has been named in the Nigeria squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the Ibrox man is in line to hit a new career milestone should he feature.
The Super Eagles get their AFCON 2021 qualification campaign under way this month with matches against the Benin Republic and Lesotho in Group L, which also features Sierra Leone.
Aribo’s first Nigeria cap came shortly after making the move to Rangers, playing the full 90 minutes and scoring in the 2-2 friendly draw against Ukraine on 10 September, before repeating the feat in October with his side’s only goal in the 1-1 friendly draw with Brazil (Transfermarkt).
The Ibrox ace is now in line to claim his first competitive caps for his nation, which would be testament to a superb – and swift – rise into the upper echelons of the game following his move to Steven Gerrard’s side from English Championship side Charlton in the summer.
Nigeria, AFCON winners in 1980, 1994 and 2013 and four-time runners-up, welcome the Squirrels to the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on November 13 before heading to Maseru as guests of the Crocodiles four days later (Goal.com).
Aribo has made 20 appearances for Rangers in all competitions this season, scoring four goals, according to WhoScored.
