Ibrox outfit Glasgow Rangers are looking for a new manager, and Celtic legend Peter Grant says that Alan Pardew would be interested.

Rangers are on the lookout for a new manager following the recent departure of Pedro Caixinha.
Caixinha lost his managerial job at Ibrox due to the Gers’ disappointing run and results in the Scottish Premiership this season.
Former Newcastle and West Ham United boss Pardew is without a managerial job at the moment following his exit from Crystal Palace in December 2016.

Former Celtic midfielder Grant believes that Pardew would be interested in becoming the new Rangers boss.
The 52-year-old former Scotland international worked as a coach with the Englishman at Reading and West Ham.
“Absolutely, I think he would,” Grant told BBC Sport when asked if the Rangers job would interest Pardew. “Fantastic man. I thoroughly enjoyed my time [at West Ham].”

Pardew is a very good manager, and the Englishman would be good for Rangers, who need someone with experience and extensive knowledge of the game.
Of course, Pardew cannot be expected to conjure up miracles at Ibrox, but if given time and funds, then he could build something special at Rangers.
