Rangers legend Craig Moore has sent a passionate message to James Tavernier on Twitter.
Tavernier helped the Gers to a 4-0 win at St Johnstone on Sunday as Steven Gerrard’s side posted a rousing second-half display.
In doing so, Rangers stay three points behind Celtic, who maintained their 100 percent start to the Premiership season with a 3-1 win over Kilmarnock at Parkhead.
This could be the most exciting title race in Scotland’s top flight for many years.
Despite Celtic winning the most recent Old Firm derby earlier this month, there doesn’t appear to be a lot between both teams in terms of quality, but the pressure is on Gerrard to stop the Bhoys from winning nine Premiership crowns in a row come May, going to within one of the magical 10.
Tavernier uploaded a generic post-match message on Twitter following the win, before Moore, who won 12 major honours in Glasgow – including a treble in 2003 – responded with a passionate rallying call, saying it could be ‘special season’ for his old club.
