Rangers defender Jack Simpson is likely to leave the Ibrox club in the January transfer window, according to The Athletic.
The report has named Simpson among the Rangers players who are struggling at the moment.
The report has stated that 25-year-old defender Simpson ‘has fallen out of the picture completely and is likely to depart’.
Disappointing Rangers spell for Jack Simpson
Simpson has struggled at Rangers, and we do not find it surprising at all to see that the defender could reportedly leave in January.
Steven Gerrard, then the Rangers manager, signed the 25-year-old defender in February 2021.

The Englishman has made only a handful of appearances for the Rangers first team and is unlikely to get much playing time under manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the coming weeks and months.
Simpson has made one start and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season.
The former Bournemouth defender has provided one assist in those games.
The Rangers no. 15 has also played once in the Scottish League Cup for the Gers this campaign.
Simpson is out of contract at Rangers in the summer of 2025.
