Rangers looks the most likely move for John Lundstram, according to some Sheffield United supporters.
Rangers were credited with an interest in Lundstram, a self-confessed admirer of the Gers boss Steven Gerrard, throughout the summer transfer window.
But the midfielder remained at Sheffield United, where he is in the final year of his contract, as the Scottish side signed Bongani Zungu in his position.
Despite having stalled on the Blades’ offer of a new deal, Lundstram has continued to feature regularly for the Premier League side, albeit not quite to the same high standards he set last season.
But Sheffield United will now reluctantly listen to offers for the 26-year-old, with whom Burnley and Crystal Palace have also been linked as well as Rangers, after a further failed attempt to get him to sign, according to The Star.
The news appears to have divided many United fans, with these ones of the opinion that Lundstram’s signature may not be as sought-after as he thinks…
Whether or not Rangers and co will be tempted into action remains to be seen.
Unlike their Premier League rivals, the Gers can approach Lundstram about a pre-contract agreement from the New Year.

Zungu’s deal is only a loan for now, although Rangers have an option to buy the South African outright.
