Rangers have been linked with a move to bring Timm Klose to Ibrox.

Rangers have seen Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic impress in the final stages of the season, but Steven Gerrard needs to bring in two centre backs this summer.
The Gers will see loanee Joe Worrall return to Nottingham Forest imminently, whilst veteran Gareth McAuley won’t have his contract extended when it expires in a matter of weeks.
Rangers may look to bring in a youngster to replace Worrall, such as George Edmundson, as well as an experienced, proven centre back to take McAuley’s place – but one option is now off the table.
A recent report from The Sun on Sunday (28/4; page 59) had suggested that Rangers were looking to sign Norwich City ace Timm Klose, aiming to lure him on a free transfer.
The Swiss centre back, 31, was set to be out of contract this summer after helping Norwich win the Championship title, returning the Canaries to the Premier League.
Klose had been in and out of the side, starting only half of Norwich’s league games this season, meaning he may well have pursued other options – but Rangers’ hopes are officially over after he signed a new deal today.

Klose has committed his future to Norwich until 2022, signing a three-year deal to stay at Carrow Road and leave Rangers nursing a second defensive transfer blow already.
The Gers missed out on another experienced centre back in Mexer, as the Rennes man chose Bordeaux over a move to Ibrox – and that, coupled with Klose’s decision, leaves Rangers needing to find other veteran defenders to target.
