Rangers super-sub scored the goal for Mark Warburton’s side at Ibrox.

Rangers picked up a dramatic late win against Dundee in the Scottish Premiership yesterday.

They snatched a late winner thanks to the substitute Harry Forrester. The midfielder, who scored against Dundee earlier in the season, headed home from a Joe Dodoo cross in the 92nd minute to claim victory.

The goal saw Ibrox erupt and the midfielder was clearly taken aback by the noise created by the Rangers faithful in Glasgow. He had this to say about the goal and result on Twitter:

The attacking midfielder has struggled for regular starting football at Rangers this season but remains popular with the fans at Ibrox because of his work-rate when called upon.

His performance off the bench once again won him the plaudits of the Rangers faithful this weekend and many will feel that he deserves more of a chance in the first-team for Mark Warburton’s men.

The win against Dundee leaves Rangers still in third place in the Scottish Premiership – just one point behind Aberdeen in second.

Next up is Partick Thistle and Forrester will be hoping he can do enough to earn a place in the Rangers starting XI.
