Rangers target suffered another snub.

Glasgow Rangers made attempts to sign Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke in the summer, the Daily Record reported.
Liverpool chose to keep Solanke, but looking at how he has been utilised this season, you have to wonder why.
After last night, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard will have to fancy his chances of luring the striker to Ibrox.
Solanke travelled with the Liverpool squad to Belgrade to face Red Star. He did not even make the bench.
Even with a rotated side, Daniel Sturridge started ahead of rested Roberto Firmino, and then late in the game Divock Origi came off the bench.
This was a back-up role reserved for Solanke last season, in which he made five Premier League starts.

Solanke played in 24 first team matches for Liverpool last year. This season he has featured in none.
It is terrible for Solanke’s development that at 21 he finds himself in this position, going backwards.
Rangers’ loan for Umar Sadiq is not working out at all and if the club choose to cut that short and push for Solanke in January, the striker would surely jump at the opportunity.
