The chance to work with Rangers’ Jermain Defoe could be too good to turn down.
Rangers are trying to sign young talent Karlan Grant, The Scottish Sun reported.
Grant is available on a free transfer in the summer and Rangers want to get him to sign a pre-contract agreement at Ibrox.
Grant has been starring for Charlton this season and has scored 13 goals in 26 games.

Defoe recently signed on a 18 month loan and rather seeing him as competition, Grant should view this as a remarkable opportunity to work with one of the very best.
The Rangers loanee has been one of the top English strikers over the past 15 years, playing at World Cups and scoring 273 career goals.
Grant is just getting started in his career, and the opportunity to work with a player like Defoe is one he might not get again.
Rangers must utilise this in negotiations, and if Defoe gets involved too and promise to take him under his wing, it could just sway the deal.
