Rangers colossus Connor Goldson is on the verge of signing a new contract at Ibrox which will keep him with the Light Blues until 2024, according to a report.
The former Brighton star has been integral as Steven Gerrard’s side have romped to the Premiership title and is now set to commit his future ahead of his contract ending next summer.
The Daily Record reports that the defender will join the likes of Steven Davis, Leon Balogun, Allan McGregor and James Tavernier in penning new contract as the Gers tie up the stars who carried them to their first title in a decade.
Goldson joined the Gers from Brighton in 2018 and a has been worth every penny of the reported £3million fee for the Ibrox giants.
With eight goals to his name this season too, Goldson is in serious contention for individual recognition when the Player of the Year awards are handed out soon.
The defender has been subject of reported interest from a host of clubs south of the border after his stellar performances for Rangers at home and in the Europa League.
Having played every second of every game so far this term, Goldson is sure to be involved this afternoon when Rangers host bitter rivals Celtic in the Scottish Cup.

A win over the Hoops would see the Gers take a massive step towards the final, with the winner this afternoon going on to face St. Johnstone next weekend.
