Sky Sports report that Beale is in Glasgow already and is bringing Neil Banfield to Ibrox with him.
Banfield, 60, is an experienced coach who spent a staggering 21 years in the Arsenal coaching ranks.
Academy, reserves, first-team coach, Banfield did it all at Arsenal and will now seemingly head to Rangers.
This is an interesting move for Rangers and one that may have a seal of approval from Gers midfielder Glen Kamara.
Kamara came up through the Arsenal ranks long before ending up as an important first-team player at Ibrox.
Speaking to The Mirror in 2017, Kamara highlighted that he had been schooled well at Arsenal by coaches like Banfield.
Kamara claimed that Banfield – alongside Steve Gatting and Steve Bould – helped ‘harden’ him as a player and give him a good grounding in the game.
Kamara has been in and out of the Rangers side this season and some have wondered whether he could leave Ibrox in January.
Yet with his former coach Banfield now heading to Rangers, Kamara will hope for a new lease of life under Beale.
The 27-year-old has shown his quality for Rangers on many occasions but having that familiarity with Banfield may just help the Finland international recapture his best form.
