Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is ‘sure’ Ibrox maestro Glen Kamara “loved everything about” Arsenal’s win over Slavia Prague in the Europa League last night.
The Finn was the victim of racist abuse from a Slavia player when the sides met in the previous round, with Rangers fans getting firmly behind the Gunners in their quarter-final against the Czech side.
Gerrard himself loved Arsenal’s triumph, as well as how they handled the pre-match show of support for anti-racism which saw Alexander Lacazette win huge praise.
The Gers will get a chance to see the Gunners’ up close later this year when they welcome Mikel Arteta’s side to Ibrox for a glamour friendly to mark the club’s 150th anniversary.
With Kamara also being an ex-Arsenal player, Gerrard thinks the Finnish international enjoyed what he was seeing last night as the Gunners ran out 4-0 winners in Prague.
“I loved everything about the game,” Gerrard told Rangers TV.
“I loved Arsenal’s performance, I loved the way they went about it. I admired how they approached before, during and after the game.
“I’m sure Glen did as well.

“I was really proud watching Arsenal’s performance last night and how they prepared for the game, the way the manager spoke and the players behaved before during and after.”
