Rangers forward Michael O’Halloran has suggested to The Sunday Post that Joe Dodoo would be a good signing for the Gers.
The Scottish Premiership-bound club are interested in securing the services of the Leicester City attacker in the summer transfer window.
Manager Mark Warburton was recently quoted as saying by Rangers’ official Twitter page that he wants to sign the 21-year-old, who can play as a winger or as a forward.
The Rangers boss added that the deal to recruit the former England Under-18 international had yet to be finalised.
Rangers forward O’Halloran, who is 25 year of age and joined the Gers in the January transfer window, has given his take on the situation, suggesting that signing Dodoo would be a good move for the Ibrox outfit.

“It is definitely impressive that we are talking in terms of picking a player up from Leicester,” O’Halloran told The Sunday Post about Dodoo.
“All the boys the manager has brought in over the summer have been top class and, while I don’t know anything about the ins and outs of this one, he would be another example.
“As a player, this is what you want. There is a lot of competition for places in the group now and the training has been good.”

Rangers have been quite busy in the summer transfer window so far, signing former Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton and ex-Queens Park Rangers defender Clint Hill among others.
The Gers will be aiming to compete with Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title during the 2016-17 campaign.
