Umar Sadiq flopped during his time at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Listen, no Rangers fan will be crying the blues over replacing Umar Sadiq with Jermain Defoe.
The legendary England international has been a revelation since joining the Gers last January on loan, and has netted two hat-tricks in the Scottish Premiership already this season.
In terms of upgrade, Rangers made a big step up in class by dumping Sadiq and getting Defoe in.
But that doesn’t mean that Sadiq was a bad player.
Well, he didn’t look all that great during his six-month stint at Ibrox, before Rangers boss Steven Gerrard and Mark Allen terminated his loan from Roma.
But the towering Nigerian striker has landed on his feet since leaving Glasgow and tonight he could prove a point to Gerrard.
Sadiq, now with Partizan Belgrade, is set to come up against Manchester United in the Europa League tonight and a good performance – preferably a goal or two – would certainly show Gerrard and fans of the Ibrox side that he always was a big talent.
The 22-year-old has netted five goals in seven league starts for the Serbian giants so far this season, and scored three goals in the Europa League – including both in a 2-1 win at Astana earlier this month.
It didn’t work out at Rangers, but Sadiq clearly has his uses and proving that against the Red Devils tonight would remind Gerrard of that.
