The 22-year-old didn’t do much at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

It looks like Umar Sadiq might have finally landed on his feet after his disastrous Rangers spell.
The Roma-owned striker had his Gers loan terminated five months early last December after struggling in a big way to compete with Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty.
In fact, Sadiq, who stands at 6’3, managed only 13 minutes of Premiership football from August until December of last season.
Steven Gerrard signed the legendary Jermain Defoe as his replacement and Sadiq wound up being loaned to Perugia in Serie B, where he also failed to make a lasting impression, scoring three in 18 games.
But Sadiq has just enjoyed the biggest moment of his career.
While Rangers were losing 2-1 to Young Boys in the Europa League on Thursday, the Nigerian marksman inspired Partizan to a 2-1 win away to Astana in the same competition, netting both goals.
The 22-year-old, who has five goals in eight league games for the Serbian outfit, even made the Europa League Team of the Week a day later, which will further boost his confidence.
His confidence was clearly rocked after struggling at Rangers, but it seems like he’s rebuilding it slowly but surely and it’ll be fascinating to see how good he could become.
