Signings will hardly be Rangers’ focus right now after losing Steven Gerrard, but St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark has been linked to Ibrox.
The Gers have been left rocked this week as Gerrard has left the club for a move to Aston Villa.
Rangers must now look to find a new manager over the international break or possibly beyond, with Gerrard also taking most of his coaching staff to Villa.
Ross Wilson will now have to juggle a managerial search with planning for the 2022 transfer windows.
The Daily Record claim that Rangers do have one signing in mind as they fancy landing St Johnstone goalkeeper Clark.
It’s noted that Clark is out of contract in the summer and Rangers would want him to compete with Jon McLaughlin and Robby McCrorie.
The 29-year-old is a boyhood Rangers fan and would surely jump at the chance of a move to Ibrox.

Rangers fans react to Clark rumours
The general consensus among Rangers fans is that Clark just isn’t good enough to be a Rangers player.
Some feel that Rangers have let goalkeepers of a similar quality leave in recent years, and Clark isn’t of the quality required at Ibrox.
Others don’t think Rangers need a goalkeeper at all, urging Ross Wilson to avoid a move for Clark even on a free.
