Rangers are keen on signing Xavi Simons – and fans have been bombarding the Paris Saint-Germain talent with messages urging him to move to Ibrox.
Rangers’ interest in Simons
New Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst is still learning about his players after taking the job last month.
Yet one transfer rumour has already emerged in Spain, with Rangers believed to be keen on PSG talent Simons.
Spanish newspaper AS claim that Rangers want to sign Simons in an audacious swoop. Rangers are even understood to have made contact with agent Mino Raiola.
The belief is that Van Bronckhorst can tempt fellow Dutchman Simons into making the move to Rangers.
Simons is out of contract at the end of the season and could head off to Ibrox if Rangers get their way.
Gers fans hijack Simons tweet
On Sunday, Max Verstappen clinched the F1 title in a dramatic win over Lewis Hamilton in Abu Dhabi.

Simons took to Twitter to congratulate his compatriot, sharing a photo of the pair together.
Rangers fans absolutely hijacked the tweet, with many fans telling Simons to make the move to Ibrox in 2022.
Some believe that Simons will make his own history at Rangers, just as Verstappen did on Sunday.
Others think he will love life under Van Bronckhorst, believing there is a Dutch revolution taking place.
