Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers offloaded Rob Kieran today.
Rob Kiernan left Rangers today after two years at Ibrox and it’s safe to say that the Scottish club’s fans aren’t overly upset over the departure.
The 26-year-old defender returned down South to join League One outfit Southend United on a three-year deal, with the option of a fourth.

Kiernan joined Rangers under Mark Warburton in 2015 but a questionable performance in the 3-2 Scottish Cup final defeat by Hibernian 14 months ago led to him losing a bit of favour with some section of the Gers fans.
And suffice to say that the centre-back will not be missed by many supporters at Ibrox next term.
Kiernan is the third Warburton signing that Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has sold this summer, after offloading Joe Garner and MattCrooks.
But that figure could increase before the transfer window shuts as there’s ongoing doubt about Martyn Waghorn and Harry Forrester’s future at Ibrox.
Rangers kick off their Scottish Premiership season with a trip to Motherwell on Sunday, and Caixinha, who has brought in nine new faces this summer, is certainly intent on making his own mark.
