Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers lost two directors today.

Rangers fans on Twitter also want Stewart Robertson to leave the club after two other board members resigned on Wednesday.

Club directors Paul Murray and Barry Scott announced their resignation via the club’s official website earlier today.

Their departure comes a day after Graeme Murty stepped down as manager of Rangers, though he was not expected to earn the role on a permanent basis regardless.

The Gers’ board has been questioned by the club’s fanbase for much of the season and now fans of the Ibrox club want managing director Robertson to follow his former colleagues.

Robertson has held his role at Ibrox since the summer of 2015 and has been an unpopular figure among supporters for quite some time.

In November, The Scottish Sun reported that Rangers fans started a petition to force his resignation following the shambolic attempt to replace axed manager Pedro Caixinha.

Steven Gerrard looks set to be the next manager at Ibrox and if that appointment also flops then Robertson, along with chairman Dave King, will have a lot to answer for, given the gamble.
