Rangers face Celtic at Hampden Park on Sunday afternoon.
Veteran striker Kenny Miller scored on his return to the Rangers side last time out as Graeme Murty’s men strolled past Dundee with a 4-0 win – and now fans want Miller to start against Celtic on Sunday.
The Gers face Brendan Rodgers’ side at Hampden Park in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup, which comes as the Gers last chance to stop Celtic from completing a second successive treble under the former Liverpool manager.
Rangers will be in buoyant mood as Miller got his name on the score sheet alongside Alfredo Morelos, Daniel Candeias and Jamie Murphy in an excellent win that put a run of three games without victory behind them.
Miller had been sidelined for much of the season after rupturing his hamstring in December against Hibernian. He returned to make his first start against Dundee, and could now be in line to start against former side Celtic.
Murty played Miller in the number 10 role in place of crocked Josh Windass last time out, and the former Reading defender could now keep the veteran striker in the starting eleven – something Rangers fans would not be adverse to seeing.
The rarely-seen attacker would be making just his second start of 2018 if Murty decides to include him in his starting eleven.
One fan reckons he would give “more on a defensive front” than Windass, while another claimed “he will probably score”.
