Rangers play host to Rapid Vienna on Thursday night in the Europa League.

Rangers’ loss to newly-promoted Livingston on Sunday afternoon has seen fans question a number of Steven Gerrard’s players on social media – and some fans want Glenn Middleton to start against Rapid Vienna on Thursday.
Gerrard has used Middleton frequently this season, with the 18-year-old clocking up 10 appearances in all competitions under the former Liverpool and England captain. But only one of those have come from the off.
In that match, he scored two goals and created another goal against Ayr in the League Cup quarter-final, while also scoring in the 4-0 win over Dundee in the Scottish Premiership at Ibrox.
Daniel Candeias’ performances are beginning to deteriorate on the right flank, with fans’ expectancy very high after he won the Player of the Season award for the 2017-18 campaign.
Ryan Kent has impressed since joining Rangers from Liverpool on a season-long loan, and he is expected to start after being rested on the bench before coming on with the Gers looking for an equaliser.

Rangers will be desperate to build on their 2-2 draw against Villarreal in Spain with the knockout stages of the Europa League the prize, and if they are to qualify, winning matches at home is crucial.
With that in mind, fans are desperate to see Middleton handed just his second start for Rangers against Vienna with many believing he carries more threat than Portuguese star Candeias.
