Borna Barisic is able to play at left-back after being cup tied for the qualification rounds and he will replace Flanagan, while Kyle Lafferty is expected to lead the line in Morelos’ place.
However, Gerrard has a number of decisions to make elsewhere – especially after a number of fringe players starred on Saturday afternoon at Ibrox as the Gers recorded their second league win of the season with a 4-0 victory over Dundee.

Halliday, 26, started and finished the match against Neil McCann’s struggling side as a holding midfielder, bossing the midfield with his intricate array of passing and desire to win the ball back when out of possession.
Some Rangers fans were so impressed with the former Middlesbrough star’s display that they want him to retain his place in the side against Villarreal, who are expected to win in Spain on Thursday night.
