Rangers travel to Easter Road ahead of Wednesday night’s clash against Hibs.

Steven Gerrard has a number of decisions to make to his Rangers starting line-up ahead of Wednesday night’s Scottish Premiership clash against Hibernian – and fans want Andy Halliday recalled.
The 27-year-old has resurrected his Rangers career under the guidance of Steven Gerrard, making 21 appearances in all competitions this season and even scoring against Dundee from a free-kick.
He has played in holding midfield, central midfield and even on the left side of defence, as he continues to win back the Ibrox support with his passionate, heart-on-the-sleeve performances.
Halliday has started seven of Rangers’ last nine Scottish Premiership encounters, but was benched for the 1-0 win over Hamilton which Rangers narrowly won thanks to Daniel Candeias’ early goal.
Now, they come up against a much tougher test in Neil Lennon’s Hibernian, who will be buoyant after beating champions Celtic 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Parkhead.

The Scottish Sun reported that Lennon wanted to sign former Middlesbrough midfielder Halliday in the summer, with Gerrard seemingly willing to sell the left-footed star. Now, he is a regular under the Liverpool legend.
Rangers fans want Halliday included in what is a crucial match after the Gers climbed back to the top of the table, with the likes of Ross McCrorie and Ryan Jack starting over him last time out in midfield.
Different game to our recent matches in terms of opposition sitting back in banks of 4 and 5. Don’t think we’ll struggle for creativity tonight and there will be more space and halliday there will suit us better.
