Rangers play host to Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers will be looking to exact revenge on Aberdeen as the two sides meet for the first time since the Dons beat Rangers in the League Cup semi-final on Wednesday night – and fans have implored Steven Gerrard to start Borna Barisic.
The Gers suffered a 1-0 loss to Aberdeen last time out, with Lewis Ferguson’s header enough to send Gerrard’s men out of the competition. Aberdeen eventually lost 1-0 to Celtic in the final of the competition.
Rangers are expected to make changes in what will be their 31st league and cup fixture of the season already. Including Wednesday night’s match, Rangers play eight times throughout the course of December.
Barisic has been sidelined since September 30 through injury, but managed 45 minutes for Rangers’ reserve side earlier this week as Andy Dallas hat-trick helped Graeme Murty’s side smash Kilmarnock 5-0.

The 26-year-old has featured seven times for Rangers this season, and has shown his creative side by laying on four assists. The four-time Croatia international is considered first choice ahead of Jon Flanagan and Andy Halliday.
Gers fans are desperate to see the former NK Osijek man start against Derek McInnes’ side on Wednesday night, as Rangers look to win all three points and remain at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
