Rangers travel to Austria to take on Rapid Vienna on Thursday night.

Rangers face a crucial Europa League clash against Rapid Vienna on Thursday night with a win required to qualify for the last 16 of the competition – and fans are desperate to see Gareth McAuley start over Joe Worrall.
Nottingham Forest loanee Worrall started alongside Connor Goldson at centre-back on Sunday afternoon, but he was at fault – as was Goldson – for Dundee’s goal which saw Kenny Miller steal in to flick the ball past Allan McGregor.
Worrall has come under fire in recent weeks at centre-back, while veteran defender McAuley has impressed when given the chance by Steven Gerrard.
The Liverpool legend has chopped and changed between his centre-back pairings this season, mainly due to the amount of games Rangers have played – Thursday’s clash against Vienna is their 33rd league and cup outing so far.

Nikola Katic remains on the sidelines despite an impressive start to life at Ibrox, with Gerrard seemingly counting the Croatian as fourth choice behind Goldson, Worrall and McAuley.
Rangers fans want Worrall dropped and McAuley to replace him on Thursday evening, with one fan claiming: “Problems only started when Worrall was put in the team.”
