Rangers were left frustrated by Russian side Spartak Moscow at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard was left frustrated on Thursday night as Rangers were kept at bay by Spartak Moscow in the Group G Europa League clash – and fans are very unimpressed with midfielder Lassana Coulibaly’s performance.
Rangers made three changes to the side that beat Hamilton 4-1 on Sunday, bringing in Joe Worrall, Jon Flanagan and Ryan Jack, and were very unlucky not to win the game.
Alfredo Morelos, Daniel Candeias and plenty of others had chances to score, while substitute Eros Grezda had a strong case for a penalty after being brought down from behind in the penalty area.
But it was Coulibaly who was particularly wasteful in the opposition box, with one moment likely to frustrate Rangers fans the most. Morelos’ drive across the six-yard box was begging to be tapped in, but Coulibaly’s laboured efforts saw the chance go begging.

Though he got forward well and supported the attack, the Mali international currently on a season-long loan from French side Angers SCO gave the ball away numerous times when in possession.
Rangers fans blasted the 22-year-old midfielder, who has impressed during the majority of his 13 league and cup appearances. But with Gers fans’ expectations increasing, Coulibaly was criticised on Twitter.
