Rangers have announced their list of pre-season friendly matches and it has not gone down overly well.

The Gers are set to play three friendly games in July, against Oxford United, Marseille, and Blackburn Rovers.

The disappointing aspect for Rangers fans is that all three matches are at Ibrox.

Rangers fans love an away day, especially in pre-season.

They travel in tens of thousands, and a trip to Marseille would have been quite something.

Rangers will of course get chances to travel abroad in the Europa League.

The draws are yet to be made, so at present fans do not know how far they will be going.

This is likely to have influenced Rangers to organise three home friendlies, to lessen travel impact on the team around key Europa League games.

Nonetheless, fans are not impressed.
