Glasgow Rangers ace Ryan Jack is being recognised for his efforts in the Light Blues as the Ibrox club began the 2019-20 campaign brightly.
A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Ibrox ace Ryan Jack being named in Steve Clarke’s latest Scotland squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Russia and Belgium.
The 27-year-old, who has been a crucial player for Steven Gerrard’s side making such an impressive start to the season in the Europa League and Scottish Premiership, was not included in Clarke’s first squad in June for the games against Cyprus and Belgium.
If selected by Clarke, Jack will make his first Scotland appearance since last September’s 4-0 defeat against Belgium, adding to his two caps thus far as Scotland host the Russians at Hampden Park on 6 September, before welcoming the Belgians three days later.
While some Rangers fans were pleased with the Ibrox midfield gem being recognised with an international call-up, some Bears recalled Jack’s debut against the Netherlands, in which he was booed by a number of supporters who were unimpressed with his decision to leave Aberdeen for Rangers, and as such hoped he would not feature.
