Glasgow Rangers won their opening Europa League group game at Ibrox but some Bears weren’t happy with one player’s display for Steven Gerrard’s side.

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Glen Kamara’s performance in the Ibrox club’s 1-0 win over Feyenoord in the Europa League.

Against the Dutch giants at Ibrox, the Finland international had a fairly mediocre game by his standards as he began slowly and sought too much time on the ball in the early stages.

Although Kamara did improve as the game went on and started to assert himself a bit more, he still looked far from his best and was overshadowed by his midfield colleagues in the match, also picking up a booking with 10 minutes to go.

As such, his display for Steven Gerrard’s side came under scrutiny by some Bears on social media, with a couple of comments below:

Kamara has done well at Rangers overall since his move from Dundee to Ibrox in January for £50,000 (Transfermarkt), making 16 appearances in all competitions for the Light Blues last season and earning plaudits from fans for his impressive performances, while this term he has 11 appearances in all competitions.

The game, which saw Rangers ace James Tavernier hit the post from the penalty spot, was settled by Ojo’s impressive first-half effort, the Liverpool loanee picking up the loose ball and driving a superb left-footed shot from 20 yards past Kenneth Vermeer for the opener and eventual winner.
