Glasgow Rangers – and Steven Gerrard – will face Frank Lampard’s Derby County at Ibrox in a friendly, Rams man Waghorn formerly a Gers player.

Glasgow Rangers have announced that Derby County will be coming to Ibrox for a pre-season friendly which is set to pit Gers boss Steven Gerrard against his one-time England teammate Frank Lampard.
The fixture, scheduled for Sunday 28 July with a 3pm kickoff, will be Rangers’ final warm-up match ahead of their Scottish Premiership campaign, pitting the 2018-19 runners-up against the Championship playoff final runners-up.
Rangers will be in action for a fourth successive Sunday at their home stadium, with Oxford United, Marseille and Blackburn Rovers also scheduled to visit Ibrox for friendlies in the three weeks beforehand.
The Rams’ squad features former Rangers striker Martyn Waghorn, who played a key role at Gers between 2015 and 2017, and shortly after the fixture announcement, he took to Twitter with a brief message:
