Glasgow Rangers sent a goodwill message to the retiring Ibrox ex-ace, who responded to the Scottish Premiership club.

Glasgow Rangers ex-player DaMarcus Beasley has sent a message of thanks to the Ibrox club on Twitter after they wished him well in his retirement.
The left-sided player, who has won 126 caps for the United States, announced on Twitter that he has decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2019 Major League Soccer season, just days ahead of his 37th birthday.
Beasley was at Rangers between 2007 and 2010, playing a part in helping the Ibrox club lift six trophies – two Scottish Premierships, two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups – before his departure to German club Hannover 96.
After the Glasgow club congratulated the American on a superb career, he responded with the following tweet:
Some Gers fans loved Beasley’s reply and took to the social media platform to also wish him all the best in his retirement:
Beasley’s club career has spanned six countries – England, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Scotland, and the United States.
He is also the only American men’s football player to appear in four World Cups – 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014 – according to the Houston Chronicle.
